I HATE that..... when people say that something/anything they've made is available for Linux and yet they NEVER specify on their site that it's coded for Intel... and not PowerPC.... like, there's not even a disclaimer! And even on their website, they don't even specify whether the version for OSX is a Universal Binary (Intel AND PPC) or not.
So we have effectively wasted our time, I think...
But maybe not all hope is lost... if the source code is available, maybe somebody could port it to PowerPC/Linux. But after checking their website and even their Wikipedia entry, it looks to be proprietary (no source code available to the general public).
Perhaps you could contact "TeamViewer GmbH" via e-mail or phone and inquire about a PPC solution, or if they can recommend something else that's compatible with PowerPC? Perhaps an alternate VNC client that works with PPC/Linux? You can look through Synaptic to see what's available for our MintPPC distro, or check SourceForge or even Google code. But beware that results from either site usually favor OSX/PPC, OSX/Intel, or Linux/Intel.
This website says that it is available for OSX/PPC, but no further mention of Linux/PPC... so that might be worth considering if you still have an active OSX partition on your hard drive....
