Hello everyone,
I'm having an issue with booting into linux on a Powerbook G3 Wallstreet PDQ 300 Mhz. The "Open Firmware" version on the machine is 2.0.1
So far I was able to install Debian into the system using the CD supplied in this site but I am unable to boot into the system once the installation is complete and was wondering if any of you nice folk would be able to help me out.

The Wallstreet is an Old World machine.

In a nutshell:

- Get BootX.
- Give it the Kernel and RamDisk you want to boot with.
- Specify the root partition of the Linux install with

Code:

root=/dev/hdax

where x is the partition number containing the root filesystem.
