Not a problem just a small suggestion on how threads could be made more helpful when asking about a problem.

I think it helps if when you post a question, you include the specification on your Mac and not just say " I have a G4 iMac ". Some models have mid-year changes, others where offered with more than one video card etc. I know from expereince with my G3 iMac, that they don't have interchangeble Xorg files even if they are both slot loaders.

I always like to include my specs on my signature in a forum. It is not for bragging, it lets people know what I am using and what other OS, modifications from original I may have.
