The Linux Mint team released the first RC of Linux Mint 10 (Julia) LXDE. Personally I like the looks of Linux Mint LXDE 9 better (the one which is used in MintPPC 9). Please let me know what you think of the looks.

I prefer 9 because Mint is GREEN......a darker GREEN with light text, or a lighter GREEN with dark text, for the Desktop background and menu bars etc is better than GREY and white!.......

I think so too Verdant....I don't know why they went this way...

I like both, actually. Both are simple, clean, and very easy on the eyes.

I agree both clean and simple.........but why choose grey?

They now made Linux Mint 11 LXDE RC2...I think, once 11 LXDE is stable, I start working on a new version of MintPPC, based on Wheezy. What do you people think ?
