Well, Linux MintPPC 11 is based on Debian Wheezy, so expect a lot more support for newer hardware (think about newer ethernet or wireless devices, stuff like that). Furthermore, you will have a whole new desktop experience. MintPPC 11 looks a lot slicker than MintPPC 9. The only thing you have to realize is, that because of the Debian Wheezy base, some things are not working as they should yet. Debian Wheezy is the testing version of Debian. Things come and go until everything becomes stable. It is not recommended for people who need stability. It is only for those who like to be on the forefront of Linux technology. Wheezy becomes stable in 2013, just to give you an idea of the time that Debian takes to evolve. MintPPC11 is more similar to Linux Mint Debian, which is based on the even more unstable Debian sid aka Debian unstable. In some aspects, MintPPC 11 is similar to the present Ubuntu, where not everything works as it should. I just want to make clear what you can expect from MintPPC 11.
