I am very happy about mintPPC 11.
I installed it on a imac indigo (g3/350mhz/256mb-ram/7.5gb-hd) for a friend (but I'm still testing a few things) .
This is a very nice distro .
The install process using the internet command is quite simple. Of course when I rebooted... Black screen
so I rebooted and at the yaboot prompt typed:
"Linux nosplash video=ofonly", to get a command line, then :
"wget http://mac.linux.be/files/xorg/imac4.txt" to get a xorg config for that imac, and
"mv imac4.txt /etc/X11/xorg.conf" to put it where it belongs. Rebooted and hurray... I was in the gui.

The system is quite complete as is but I still added :
libreoffice
ttf-mscorefonts-installer
browser-plugin-gnash
scribus

I'm quite happy to see that most of the software that interests me is in french.
And I can get flash in Midori (thanks to Gnash) which I could'nt in os 9.2.2
This is really quite a nice alternative because osx is such a memory hog I could'nt realisticaly install it for browsing, so I was stuck with os 9.

As my language is french I wanted a wallpaper without the moto to put my translation there...
So I redrew it and I attach here 2 files (one without writing and one with the french translation).
If it bothers the creator of the wallpaper tell me and I will remove it.
