I managed to install Mintppc on my old Titanium G4 Powerbook, but the display setting seems to be stuck at 1024x768. I did some googling and read about Xorg.conf, and it should be in /etc/X11 but I don't show it there. Are there any other places it might have been placed?

The only other issue I've found is the battery monitor doesn't seem to work. Any help or advice on either of these would be appreciated! Thanks!

The xorg.conf is only placed if the system feels it is needed. Apparently, the driver did well enough on autconfigure to work properly, but failed to detect the optimal settings. You will likely need a xorg.conf to specify what the autodetect did not.

Try this:

wget http://mac.linux.be/files/xorg/powerbook10.txt
sudo mv powerbook10.txt /etc/X11

Then reboot.

OK, done. Still at 1024x768. Should I create a text file called xorg.conf? I'm still a noob where graphics is concerned....

Yup, sorry about that, I should have told you to rename it to xorg.conf.
