Since MintPPC 11 is based on debian wheezy, we rely on their netboot images. Sometimes, these images do not build properly due to new package incompatibilities or missing packages. This is part of being based on a *testing* release.

The normal links are:
G3/G4: http://d-i.debian.org/daily-images/powe ... t/mini.iso
G5: http://d-i.debian.org/daily-images/powe ... t/mini.iso

If the above links do not work, please post here and an mod will look into it.

{Please note that this topic is only for broken (unable to be downloaded) iso images, not failed installs.}

Hi! I heard good things about this distro and wanted to give it a try. But when I try to download the iso files it seems the links are broken.

None of the links from this page seem to be working:

Is there any other way I could get those?

I haven't looked into it, but there are massive service outages on the East coast of the USA. By the timing I'd guess this to be related.

Now that Wheezy is frozen, the locations are likely to change. Unfortunately, I'm going to be out of town for the next week starting in... a few hours...

JD, can you look into this and correct it?

hello everybody,

on the 404 not found page with url:

http://caesar.acc.umu.se/debian-cd/6.0. ... sscard.iso

i changed 6.0.4 to 6.0.5 in both places. pressed enter. success.

at netinstall url:

http://hammurabi.acc.umu.se/debian-cd/6 ... etinst.iso

i changed 6.0.4 to 6.0.5 in both places. pressed enter. success.

on debian site version 6.0.5 is the order of the day. can we work
with it? do we need to find where/if older versions of debian are?

i read about this 404 problem on the puppy linux forum where it
was causing sorrow to people looking for better linux for ppc compus. i hope we can fix it fast. every day it isn't is like a train
which runs but doesn't accept new passengers.
