I am trying to install MintPPC 11 on an iBook G3 800MHZ Dual USB. It is asking for firmware, agere_sta_fw.bin so i looked for it and was not about to find it. I think it's for the Airport.

I got it by plugging the iBook into the ethernet. Looks like the wireless could have worked. I was not able to come this far with previous version of MintPPC. Thanks anyway.

BrandonH: You can ignore that error window . . . it's just a check to see how mentally stable you are. If you can bravely ignore error windows during the installation you will have the mental strength to survive . . . . Anyway, whatever that firmware is, it isn't necessary . . . but it has been showing up for some months without being edited out of the installer . . . . Perseverance furthers . . . continue moving forward in time.
