I installed Mint PPC on a power Mac G4...everything works fine but I have no sound.
I tried going here :

and running cat /proc/asound/version

but I get an error saying No such file or directory.
frankly I am stumped. Any ideas?

oh and it wont accept "modprobe" as a command as well...

YAH!!! got sound to work!! I just followed this link

and used sudo!!! Thanks!!!
