I am running the latest TenFourFox on my G3, G4 and G5 PPC Macs under Tiger and Leopard..........it is very fast.........

I will install it on my girlfriend's G4 iBook with Tiger too then....

For the moment, I'm stucled on an SQLITE unsatisified dependency (I think... Lot of error related to SQLITE).

Seems that FF4 can be built on linux PPC, but cannot find yet some instructions.

If somone else can try (get FF4 mozilla-central sources via mercurial, try to satisy all dependancies, i can put my .mozconfig here).
Took 10hours for less than half of the build on my G4 466... I may try to put the MintPPC hard disk in my dual G4 1.25, should be faster .

Hum... Depandency fixed. But now, syntax error in a file, cms.h, about some "template".
As I tried a french localization build, I'm reverting to an en-US build.

Made a (working) build of CodeBlocks, wich is no more in debian PPC repo... I don't know how I can make a .deb wich anybody can use in MintPPC.

instead of 'make install', you can use checkinstall, it will create a .deb for you.

will try that. Succeded in built Firefox 4.0bpre12. Work very fast even on my G4 466. Same question, how can i make a package for that ?

There is a program called make package or something. Would be nice to have FF4 here for other MintPPC users. If you succeed I will add it to the repository. I built FF also a few times, you only need a very small part in the end for installation. It has to be a .deb of around 20 Mb I think.

This build is not optimized for G4, i may take a look at what can be done to make 7400 ou 7450 specific build.

I'm trying to make the same with codeblocks with checkinstall, but get errors. I'm a newbie .
