hi,
Very nice distribution, it was what I looking for but unfortunately I've already installed and customized a debian squeeze...

now I'm looking only for a recent version of iceweasel, so I've added some lines to my sources.list for install and build this software (the building is just for fun) , when I write

Code:

apt-get build icewesel

the system is going to build the old version of iceweasel (3.5.16) but if I specify the version iceweasel=7.0 the system tell me that there isn't a source package for that software

maybe I missing some step, there my sources.list

Iceweasel 7 is in the MintPPC repository.

sudo apt install iceweasel

or

Code:

sudo apt remove iceweasel
sudo apt install iceweasel

sorry to bother you but there isn't a repository for mintppc source?

does it make sense to add this line to the sources.list?

It makes sense for MintPPC 11, not for 9. I did not make public the source of MintPPC 9

I provided the source of MintPPC 11. I did not do it for MintPPC 9.

so mint ppc should be considered closed soure, right?

Not at all, am willing to make it public. As there are no other people working on the code except myself I thought it didn't make sense at the time. I also did not know how to make a source repository at the time I developed MintPPC 9. I now know how that works, so I dumped the source code of MintPPC 11 online.
