yes airdrummer, that's what I meant. It can all be read in the installation instructions.

@airdrummer

Senator Wyden and I disagree on nearly every political aspect straight down the spectrum, however I applaud him and you for your work against these bills. The beauty of this situation is in showing that we the people will not have liberals, nor conservatives, nor the media industry hijack our government (and subsequently us) into submission.

@JD: I think airdrummers' question was based on one of your posts where you said you were shooting for not needing to use "install url=mintppc.org" at all . . . ??? So for now we will still be using that, along with the new semi-daily mini.iso??

e.e.p.

Of course, if you download an official Debian iso, it cannot hold my preseed file. That's why you need to still use that url=mintppc.org line. In the future I will experiment with spinning my own mini.iso files containing the preseed file inside, do the extra line is no longer necessary.

I have downloaded the G3 / G4: http://di.debian.org/daily-images/power ... t/mini.iso

At the end of the installation is a big error message on the screen but you can go on further.
After the installation and the reboot of my ibook g4 the desktop looks good but I can not access my home directory. when clicking on the icon an error message comes: (

Yes, I had the same. Something changed in pcmanfm, don't know what:

Right click that home folder and open with gedit. I had to change
Code:
Exec=pcmanfm ~/

into
Code:
Exec=pcmanfm /home/jeroen/

it seems like a bug though. Edit: I filed a bug report for this.
