hi guys, i recently installed mintppc 9 64 bit onto my g5 1.6
my question is.... what is the difference between to the 32 bit verson and the 64 bit version and
will the g5 run with either installed?

You can only install the 32-bits version on a G5.

are you sure? i think my mac is 64 bit? i know its old but i think it was one of the first ones to use 64 bit

G3/G4 = 32bit
G5 = 64bit
